Cut and trim clips

To cut, position the playhead and split the clip into two pieces; then delete the part you do not want. To trim, drag a clip edge inward to shorten it or outward to reveal more of the source. Trimming is non-destructive: your original file is never changed, only the in and out points on the timeline.
